Spring Skate Program Term 4

Coach: Andi Dextris, Artistic Skating Guru

Who is it for: Kids and adults - any abilities

Join our exciting Spring Skate program in Preston or Port Melbourne, led by the esteemed Andi Dextris. Andi, an accomplished artistic skater, has been competing since an early age and brings years of teaching experience to the rink. As a regular coach at our Preston family sessions, Andi has a unique talent for guiding skaters of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a fun and engaging learning experience.

Session Structure:

  • Gear up and Warm-Up: Begin with a group warm-up to get everyone ready for skating.

  • Beginner Session: Andi will start with beginners, covering basic roller skating techniques and helping them gain confidence on wheels. Meanwhile the Intermediates will have free time to practice and refine their skills.

  • Intermediate Session: Andi will then shift focus to the intermediates, teaching them advanced skills and techniques. Meanwhile the beginners will practice on their own, applying what they've learned.

  • Group Activities: The session will conclude with fun activities that everyone can participate in, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie.

All abilities are welcome, and Andi will ensure that each skater is challenged appropriately. This dynamic structure allows skaters to progress at their own pace while benefiting from Andi’s expert guidance.

If you don’t have your own skates, you can hire them for the duration of the program with the option to buy at the end. You can also purchase brand new skates from us at a discounted price. Email Belle if you’re interested in purchasing new skates/protective gear for the program.
